The Battlefield video game series theme song has been rearranged many times by various composers for each game in the series.
All those versions trace back to a track called "Vehicle IV," composed by Joel Erikkson for the Battlefield 1942 soundtrack.
To celebrate twenty years since this theme was composed, in 2021 original composer Joel Erikkson released a new version, "Battlefield 1942 Theme (Original Vehicle IV)," based on the original Vehicle IV composition.
