~ Release by Dillon Francis X Young Ash (see all versions of this release, 1 available)
Annotation
The release will be part of Francis' upcoming Spanish language studio LP.
Following "Ven" and "We The Funk," Dillon Francis offers up "BaBaBa (Vete Pa'Ya)," the third single to be released from his upcoming Spanish language studio album. The LP, which has yet to receive an exact release date, will arrive later this year on Francis' IDGAFOS label and explores his moombahton roots.
"BaBaBa" in particular was influenced by the producer's 2011 collab "Que Que" with Diplo. "For my album I really wanted to make a song reminiscent of 'Que Que', but an elevated version of it that was fun yet tough sounding," Francis says in a press release. "Young Ash's flow on this is exactly that. It's truly one of my favorite tracks from the project. Her voice is so strong and striking which makes for such an incredible gritty moombahton song."
The record comes paired with a vertical, stop-motion music video directed by Joel Strong who is known for his cardboard cutouts of celebrities in real life settings. Watch the video for Francis' latest release with Young Ash, out today (May 9) below.
