Little Queen

Little Queen is Heart locking in as a hard rock band, not just flirting with it. “Barracuda” is the obvious monster—still snarling, still undeniable—but the real strength here is how steady and confident the rest of the record feels. Nothing overstays its welcome, and even the mid-tier tracks keep the momentum moving. It’s not wall-to-wall greatness, but it’s tight, professional, and powered by Ann Wilson doing things most rock singers couldn’t touch in ’77. A strong follow-up that trades mystique for muscle and mostly makes the right call.
