Japanese metal label specializing in releasing live recordings and reissues of sought after, obscure Japanese metal classics.

Label falsely closed on January 5, 2015 due to the owner's decline in health, but it's still releasing records through a private mailing list. "OUT OF SERVICE, Thank you very much for 15 years support. HMSS says bye to all our customers and supporters. Sorry, the label owner has got serious health problem and must go to hospital from January 5 to death. Please don't contact to us, we can't treat you anymore. 体調不良のため、休みます。"

Owned by Yohta Takahashi.

From 1999-2008, H.M.S.S. stood for "Heavy Metal Super Star" Records. Since 2008, H.M.S.S. was said to have stood for "Hyper Mach Speed Saucer" institute.
